American jewelry designer, actor, and businesswoman Morgana McNelis rose to prominence in the fashion sector. She was born in Georgia, USA, on July 9, 1983, and is currently 36 years old. McNelis is well-known for her jewelry brand, Maison De Morgana, which takes cues from both ancient Egypt and the Ottoman Empire. Before starting her prosperous solo business in 2012, she co-founded a jewelry company with her sister in 2007. Education and Career Beginnings
McNelis started her career at the age of twenty by enrolling in a jewelry class where she learned about lost-wax metal casting, which served as the basis for her jewelry business. Later, she dabbled in acting, making appearances in short films such as "187: The McKenna Murders" (2011) and "Acting 101" (2014). In addition, she assisted with costumes for the 2011 horror movie "Isolation."
Success Story of the Jewelry Business: In 2007, Morgana and her sister opened a jewelry store, but owing to difficult economic times, the business had to close. Her own jewelry brand, Maison de Morgana, was introduced in 2012, with inspirations from the Ottoman Empire and ancient Egypt. Stars like Winona Ryder, Maggie Siff, and Zac Efron began to wear her designs.
Philanthropic Aims
In July 2013, McNelis introduced the "BC Armor" line, the proceeds of which went toward supporting the "Boot Campaign," an organization that aids veterans of war and their families. This was one of her charitable endeavors. This project demonstrated her dedication to social causes in addition to her prosperous economic endeavors.
