Read the following case below and answer the questions that follow:

Nina Lim is never short of ideas. As a teenager, she set-up her own part- time business designing websites for entrepreneurs and student associations, while pursuing her studies at National Junior College in Singapore. Nina has always been interested in entrepreneurship, and she regularly attends the Action for Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) - a network promoting entrepreneurship. Now, she is two months away from completing her Masters in Material Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and she has just launched No Water Wash with Tim, a fellow NTU business student. The pair is contemplating entering 'The BIG Idea' - a business plan competition held at their university but they are still unsure about the range of - products they should provide, and the markets they could target. In addition, a concrete business model has yet to be developed.

No Water Wash is an innovative car wash process that does not require water. "We use a unique 2-in-1 wash and polish product, which uses a polymer compound to lift dirt from the surface of the paint and encapsulate it in a lubricating film. The dirt is then removed with a soft cloth treated with nanoparticles' ', says Nina. The washing process reveals a shiny surface that is protected by a thin polymer coating. Whereas traditional car wash products are was-based, tend to deteriorate rapidly in the sun and dull the paint's appearance over time, the polymer coating lasts for up to six weeks and keeps the car looking shinier for longer. The technology is proven. She washed a sample car panel over a hundred times to show the efficiency of the process, and demonstrate that it does not damage the paintwork.

She conducted some preliminary market research and found from the Land Transport Authority website that there are currently just over half a million cars registered in Singapore. She thinks that they could expand the service range, and that they could target some specific segments in the local market.

 Questions:

b. Suggest the different methods for idea generating and solving the problem to Nina.  10
