About Us

Lalitpur Engineering College (LEC), which was the first engineering college to have only one faculty (Civil Engineering) and was affiliated with Tribhuvan University when it was founded in 2066 BC, is presently in competition with more than 50 other engineering colleges spread across Nepal that are affiliated with six national universities. The administrative team of the college and other staff members support a competitive atmosphere in engineering education, which unquestionably propels us toward a globally competitive market for technical labor. The primary goal of LEC is to prepare Quality Engineers who can market themselves as professionals. He or she will successfully compete on the global job market in addition to serving the demands of the nations by resolving their technological and managerial issues. 

The college has every feature that should be in a "Quality Learning Center" in order to achieve the LEC's goal and maintain room for future development. For instance, the college is conveniently located close to Patandhoka-Chakupat, was founded by a group of forward-thinking Nepalese eminent professionals, and is equipped with an adequate lab (as required by the Nepal Engineering Council and Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University), a calm academic environment, well-established and renowned professional teachers, enough play areas (for volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and badminton), an adequate parking facility, and other necessary facilities. All interested parties can rest assured that LEC's administration and academic staff will never skimp on the greatest possible engineering education. LEC may be proud of having one of the strongest faculty strengths in terms of quantity, highly qualified faculty, experienced faculty, etc. The faculty of LEC is made up of some of the brightest minds in the world, and they have worked diligently over the years to create a setting that is ideal for conducting lectures and research. The institution places the highest priority on the ongoing learning process. The teachers are urged to stay current on scientific and technical advancements and pass that information on to the kids.
